Coating

• What is the coating on UltraSTEEL™?
  • UltraSTEEL™ is marketed with a G-40 or equivalent coating to match traditional steel and the requirements of ASTM C645.
• Can I get this in G-60 or G-90 coating?  
  • All products can be special ordered.  Just be aware of the additional costs and lead time of special order materials.
•  Is the rough/dimpled surface of UltraSTEEL™ more likely to rust? 
  • UltraSTEEL™ has been tested with electron microscopes and salt spray baths per ASTM B117 and proven to perform to the requirements of ASTM C645, G40 or equivalent corrosion resistance.
• Does the work hardening (dimpling) make it more susceptible to rust?
