ClarkWestern Opens New Manufacturing Facility in Connecticut

September 1, 2007 saw the opening of the ninth ClarkWestern manufacturing plant in the U.S.  This $10 million investment in a new facility in Bristol, Connecticut is part of ClarkWestern’s aggressive expansion program to ensure seamless service across the entire U.S.  Specifically, the new facility will bolster service to the Northeast region, where the demand for steel framing products is approximately 440,000 tons per year.

“We have met all of our startup goals and currently have 34 employees, but that number will continue to increase over the coming months,” states Terry Westerman, Executive Director of Sales and Marketing.

The Bristol plant, along with eight other nationwide facilities, helps further solidify ClarkWestern’s position as the industry’s second largest player in the U.S.
